I write not because you read these words (or not)
but because these words make me feel better.


I write not because I'm gifted with words
but because speech is that much harder to come out.


I write not because my words are seen
but because they're felt, and perhaps
understood.


I write not only because I'm talking to you
but because I'm talking to myself too.


I write not only because you get what I'm saying
but because somewhere deep down inside
it's the best that I can do.
